Digital toolkit for local farmers, brewers and other producers.

Local farmers and food processors are eager to supply their products to supermarkets and restaurants. But that is not always easy to organize. Existing platforms often lack industry-specific features that local producers need. And custom development is costly and inefficient.

Calabi aims to solve that problem with a digital toolkit where producers can organise and manage their B2B and B2C sales. Developed in close collaboration with local farmers, brewers, bakers, … and their professional clients, we designed a toolkit made specifically for this industry. Filled with handy features that elevates the buying-local experience.

Buying local ensures less food miles and a strong connection with the people who provide our food.

The designers at Omvorm have the unique ability to listen very well. That way they go beyond design: the collaboration gave me a much sharper understanding of my own product and positioning. The design process thus became collective and logical. The result is the right design that perfectly positions my product in the market.
